Counterweighted alternative to "tabernacle" for reserved sacrament to supply clergy hospital visitors in Halifax, NS. Brass flat chased pierced light included above vault. Echoes architectural details from chapel location - victorian carpenter, gothic spire with a canopy in chain suspension. Above ceiling aircraft cable, stainless marine pulleys and lead weight. Vertical travel approx 8 ft. Fabricated hinge, purchased lock. Cedar lined "neither moth nor rust". The only acceptable alternatives would have been solid gold or white silk and linen.
